Callahan Concrete is a family owned and operated business that caters to our customer's needs. The business was incorporated in 1969 by Troy Callahan and Ronald Gobble under the name Gobble Callahan Inc. Troy and his son Jeffrey finished concrete for over 30 years as a part of the company's operations.

Jeffrey acquired Troy's shares when he retired in 1997. The Callahan family invested in Ronald's remaining shares in 2010. Jeffrey's son Jake, who graduated in Dec 2009 from NCSU with a business degree, assumed the position of company president in March 2010.

Previously, he was employed with his father and several other local concrete finishers to get the background that is essential for this position. Our management philosophy holds that you must first have been a customer to fully understand the customer's needs.

Dee Dee Callahan is the secretary/treasurer and batch technician. She worked on the yard for the last four years learning the fundamental operations of the concrete business.
